Chief Mate Logan - A graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, Logan brings to Kaisei the knowledge from years of work with research vessels and a passion for navigation.

Chief Mate Richard "Likeke" Goings - With 15 years of experience on traditional and indigenous sailing craft, Likeke not only keeps Kaisei's rigging in top shape but also possesses strong leadership and teaching skills with the crew.
